Building a customer experience that earns trust before a purchase

Most customer experience work focuses on the moments after checkout. We think the more important work happens earlier — in the decisions that let a customer trust you enough to buy in the first place.
Clarity beats persuasion
Clear product information, honest photography, and plainly stated policies do more to earn trust than persuasive copy ever will. Customers are good at detecting when they're being sold to.
What we choose not to say
Urgency banners, fabricated scarcity, and inflated 'original' prices are common retail tactics we deliberately avoid, because they trade a short-term conversion for long-term credibility.
Support as a trust signal
Making it easy to find real contact information and get a real answer is, in itself, a trust signal — often a stronger one than any review score.
Trust built before a purchase tends to compound: it's the difference between a one-time buyer and a returning customer.
